Farmer leader addresses UN Human Rights Council, terms three agri laws as violation of UN Declaration
New Delhi, March 16, 2021 : Farmer leader Dr. Darshanpal has termed three agri laws as violation of UN Declaraton on the rights of Peasants and other people.
In a video message addressed to the 46th Session of the United Nations' Human Rights Council today, Samyukt Kisan Morcha's Dr Darshan Pal stressed that the 3 Central laws that farmers were protesting against, were a violation of the UN "Declaration on the Rights of Peasants and Other People Working in Rural Areas". India is a signatory to this international Declaration.
