The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) today said that the social boycott of the BJP leaders in a peaceful manner by the farmers continues.

The SKM also informed that the farmers protested against Pilibangan MLA Dharmendra Singh at Dabli toll plaza in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan by surrounding him. Farmers said that at the time of seeking votes, these leaders become friendly to the farmers and other people, but today when the farmers are struggling, they were standing against them.
The Samyukta Kisan Morcha requested the BJP leaders other elected representatives to support the farmers’ movement. SKM appealed to the leaders that they can support the movement in any form including resignation from their posts.

Farmers also demanded that there should be a guaranteed procurement of all crops and the ration system should work transparent and regular.
The SKM informed that under Mitti Satyagrah Yatra, a yatra started from Dandi in Gujarat reached Bichhiwada in Dungarpur, Rajasthan. Connecting with many villages and cities in Gujarat, the second yatra started from the Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh. After reaching Neemuch, this yatra reached Bichhiwada on the morning of April 1, where a meeting has been held among the tribal farmers.
