3 deaths, 226 new covid-19 cases reported in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, March 25, 2021:
The Union Territory Chandigarh on Thursday reported 226 new covid-19 positive cases. Three deaths have also been reported in last 24 hours due to covid-19.
As per the information released by the health department, UT Chandigarh, the total number of active cases in Chandigarh stands at 2,286.
In the last 24 hours, the department has tested 2,018 samples. As per the figure, 368 deaths have been reported in Chandigarh due to Covid-19 to date.
Likewise, the total number of patients who have tested positive to date stands at 25,356.
COVID Death details:-
- A 62-year-old COVID positive Female R/o Sector 45, a case of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and Severe Acute Respiratory Infection, expired at Cheema Hospital, Mohali.
- A 78-year-old COVID positive Female R/o Sector 19, a case of Hypertension and Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus, expired at PGIMER.
- A 72-year-old COVID positive Female R/o Sector 39, a case of Hypertension and Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus, expired at Amar Hospital, Mohali.
Discharged Patients:-
- A total of 115 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
