2 deaths and 265 new covid-19 cases reported in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, March 30, 2021:
Chandigarh on Tuesday reported 265 new covid-19 positive cases. Two deaths have also been reported due to covid in the last 24 hours.
As per the information released by the health department, UT Chandigarh, the total number of active cases in Chandigarh stands at 2,831.
In the last 24 hours, the department has tested 1,754 samples. As per the figure, 379 deaths have been reported in Chandigarh due to Covid-19 to date.
Likewise, the total number of patients who have tested positive to date stands at 26,733.

COVID Deaths:-
- A 64-year-old COVID positive Female R/o Sector 49, a case of Hypertension, Diabetes and Severe Lungs Disease, expired at Sohana Hospital, Mohali.
- A 42-year-old COVID positive Female R/o Sector 24, a case of Type-2 Respiratory Failure and Severe Acute Respiratory Infections, expired at GMCH-32.
Discharged Patients:-
- A total of 178 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
