Observe 1 hr silence every Saturday for Covid-19 victims: SSP
Ferozepur, March 26, 2021: Tributes will be paid to the Covid-19 victims who lost their lives due to Corona by keeping silence on every Saturday for one hour from 11 am to 12 noon on March 26 in Ferozepur district, on an appeal from the Chief Minister Punjab Capt Amaarinder Singh.
On the directions of DGP Punjab Dinkar Gupta, an appeal was made by SSP Ferozepur Bhagirath Singh Meena to all the residents of the district observe silence for one hour every Saturday from 11 am to 12 noon, to remember those, who passed away during the war against Corona. He said that road traffic should also be avoided during this time and social organizations would also cooperate in this.
SSP also appealed to the residents of the district to take necessary precautions in view of the surge in corona cases. He said by wearing a mask all the time, maintaining a social distance and repeatedly wash their hands, will enable us to succeed Fateh Mission of the government to defeat Corona. He also appealed to the Sarpanchs and panchs of the district to observe silence in villages.
