India sends 2 lakh Covid-19 vaccine doses for UN peacekeepers in Denmark
New Delhi, March 27, 2021: The Indian government has sent around 2 lakhs Covid-19 vaccine doses for United Nation Peacekeeping. The Covid-19 doses were shipped to Denmark on Saturday.
Acknowledging this, United Nations Resident Coordinator in India Renata Dessallien expressed gratitude to the Indian government for its contribution to the UN’s peacekeeping mission.
"India has provided 200,000 #COVID19 vaccine doses to @UNPeacekeeping. The @UN warmly thanks for this generous gesture of solidarity and support, reflecting India's strong commitment to multilateralism, to global peace, to them in particular,” said Renata Dessallien.
