One death, 32 Corona +ve cases surfaced in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, March 26, 2021: Despite issuing guidelines and keeping a vigil over wearing the masks at the crowded places, there is a surge in Corona positive cases in Ferozpur district with 32 reported on Friday with one death in Mamdot block taking the total death tally to 162.
As per the latest reports, 106832 samples were taken in the district, resulting in 100871 negative, 5106 positive, 4699 recovered and 245 active cases while the report of 855 samples are still awaited.
There had been one death Mamdot block of 54 years male and the tally reached to 162 deaths in the district since the outbreak of virus.
In the vaccination drive intensified agasint registrataion 23467, 19696 persons have been vaccinated for first and second dose of 45 plus age including the front line workers, which comes to 83.9 percent, said DIO.
