Chandigarh reports 2 deaths and 294 new covid-19 cases
Chandigarh, March 27, 2021:
Chandigarh on Saturday reported 294 new covid-19 positive cases. Two deaths have also been reported in the last 24 hours due to covid-19.
As per the information released by the health department, UT Chandigarh, the total number of active cases in Chandigarh stands at 2,532.
In the last 24 hours, the department has tested 1,914 samples. As per the figure, 374 deaths have been reported in Chandigarh due to Covid-19 to date.
Likewise, the total number of patients who have tested positive to date stands at 25,898.
COVID Death:-
A 96-year-old COVID positive Female R/o Sector 12, a case of Type-1 Respiratory Failure and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, expired at PGIMER.
An 87-year-old COVID positive Male R/o Sector 37, a case of Severe Acute Respiratory Infections, expired at GMCH-32
Discharged Patients:-
- A total of 152 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
