Covid claims lives of two Pak journalists
Chandigarh, March 26, 2021:
Two senior journalists of Pakistan died due to covid-19 today . The deceased, Sohail Abdul Nasir and Johar Majeed, were working in different media organisation of Pakistan.
As per the information, Johar Majeed, a resident of Rawalpindi, was associated with Daily Ausaf. He breathed his last in Rawalpindi Institute of Urology and Transplant after got infected from covid . Sohail Abdul Nasir was associated with Daily Nawai Waqat.
Many politicians have expressed their grief on the death of both the journalists. Pak Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian (PPPP), President, Asif Ali Zardari expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of both the senior journalists.
