Jagraon/Ludhiana , December 11, 2016: Arvind Kejriwal promised to revive the economy of Punjab with dairy farming as its mainstay.
Speaking at the Annual Pashu Mela of Progressive Dairy Farmers Association at Jagraon, Ludhiana today, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that dairy farming will be the bedrock occupation for removing unemployment in Punjab when Aam Aadmi forms Government here. He announced that interest free loans to dairy farmers when AAP comes to power.
Arvind Kejriwal visited the numerous stalls at the Dairy Farming and appreciated the efforts made by PDFA for the dairy farmers in Punjab.
The massive gathering at the expo cheered Mr. Arvind Kejriwal as he promised to provide education loan to students wishing to pursue a career in Dairy Farming. Mr. Kejriwal also honoured the outstanding dairy farmers. He reiterated his commitment to the cause of Dairy Farming by choosing three members of PDFA as MLA candidates of Aam Aadmi Party.
Earlier addressing the gathering, S. Daljeet Singh Sadarpur elaborated how the Badal Govt had turned dairy farming into miserable profession due to their corrupt and inept policies.
Mr Kejriwal was accompanied by AAP MLA Candidates S. H S Phoolka, Sarvjit Kaur Manuke and Capt. G S Kang.
