Ludhiana, December 11, 2016: Terming the AAP’s alliance with Lok Insaaf Party (LIP) as an alliance of “Truth and Honesty”, National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today said the alliance would eradicate the corrupt regime of SAD-BJP in Punjab, so that people could live their lives peacefully.
Kejriwal, who was honoured by Simarjit Singh Bains and Balwinder Singh Bains, leaders of LIP, said that gathering of huge number of people indicates that people have already made up their minds to give humiliating defeats to SAD-BJP-Congress nexus and eradicate the “Mafia Rule” from the state.
Hailing the battle raised by the Bains brothers against the corruption by Akalis, Kejriwal said that time is ripe that people should also raise their voice against the prevailing corruption, so that Akalis do not dare to loot them any longer.
Making a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narindra Modi, Kejriwal said that demonetisation was a wrong decision and even implemented in wrong manner. Several people have already lost their lives while standing in the long queues in front of banks, he said.
“Modi has done so to benefit his industrialist friends and it is scam of more than Rs eight lakh crore”, he added.
“On the one hand BJP leaders are spending Rs 500 crores on marriages of their daughters and on the other hand common man is forced to spend just Rs 2.5 lakh on marriages of their daughters”, Kejriwal said if BJP leaders were ready to marry their daughters in Rs 2.5 lakh then common man would also adhere to the idea of Modi ji.
While addressing the gathering, Simarjit Singh Bains said that his party always raised war against corruption and now under the alliance with AAP, a decisive battle against corruption would be fought to eradicate it once for all. “We will end the Mafia Rule in Punjab be it in the field of Mining, Liquor, Cable or Transport”, Bains said.
State In-Charge of AAP affairs in Punjab, Sanjay Singh said “Akalis and Congress leaders are right when they say, AAP has no experience. Yes, we admit that we have no experience of looting the state ex-chequer, we have no experience to run the Mafia in Mining, Liquor, Cable and Transport Sector. But we have an immense experience to eradicate corruption, which has already been proved in Delhi”.
Among others, who were present on the occasion, include, HS Phoolka, Harjot Singh Bains, Gurpreet Singh Bhatti, Ahbab Singh Grewal and Bhola Grewal.
