Centre extends orders regarding attendance of employees in the offices
New Delhi, May 28, 2021:
The Ministry of Personnel on Friday extended the existing arrangements of attendance of central government employees till June 15, 2021 or until further orders.
The earlier orders were issued till May 31. It was directed that all the secretaries of central government departments to regulate the attendance of employees working under them, considering COVID cases in the office and their functional requirement.
The orders had also added that persons with disabilities and pregnant women employees must be exempted from attending office but they should continue to work from home.
