UT Estate Office to open for public dealing from this date
Chandigarh, May 30, 2021:
The Estate Office of Chandigarh will resume its functioning from June 1 for the public, said the administration order on Sunday.
As per the administration, the public dealing will be done from June 1 only on the basis of fresh online appointments.
However, the administration clarified that appointments already booked up to May 31 will stand cancelled in order to avoid gathering in the office premises. The portal for booking online appointments will be functional from May 30 onwards.
The decision to resume the functioning of the Estate Office has been taken in view of a notable drop in COVID cases.
The office remained shut amid COVID crisis.
