Watch:Punjab Police SP gives heartfelt tribute to Corona warriors who lost lives to COVID-19
Chandigarh, May 29, 2021: As India along with the rest of the world battles with raging COVID-19, many have lost their loved ones to COVID-19. Among those who lost life battle with the deadly virus are the frontline workers who bravely performed their duties during these unprecedented times. While they try to combat the virus with the pan-India vaccination programs, the sacrifices to brave Corona warriors will never be forgotten.
Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Mohali Gurjot Singh also gave an emotional tribute to frontline warriors who lost their life to COVID-19 while performing their duties.
Kaler who along with performing his official duties also used his YouTube channel Gurjot S.Kaler, for raising various social issues posted a video on his account paying tribute to the brave frontline workers who gave their lives while performing their duties and battling COVID-19.
"The corona pandemic has already killed innumerable people across the globe. We have also lost so many doctors, nurses, police officers, and other frontline workers who have sacrificed their personal and family lives in this corona pandemic," said Gurjot Singh Kaler.
"The death, destruction, and devastation unleashed by the Coronavirus has caused unprecedented stress on the health infrastructure everywhere. During this unfortunate time of grave crisis, a big, heartfelt salute goes to the community of doctors, nurses, medical staff, health workers, police officers, journalists, civil administration, NGO's, civil society members, and other frontline workers who are unitedly fighting against the corona pandemic by putting their own lives at risk," he added.
