Ludhiana again relaxes Curfew timings for non-essential shops and private offices
Weekend curfew to continue in city
Ludhiana, May 30, 2021:
District Magistrate has provided more relaxations in the curfew timings for all shops and offices on Sunday. In a latest order, it has been announced that from May 31 onwards, all shops, private offices as well as organisations can open from 5 am to 5 pm on weekdays.
Earlier, the shops selling non-essential items were allowed to open till 3 pm.
Also, all e-commerce and courier companies are allowed to deliver their couriers/parcels to houses till 9 pm on all days, said the orders.
The administration clarified that all restaurants, dhabas, cafeterias, etc are allowed to open only for accepting take-away orders till 5 pm on weekdays whereas the home deliveries of cooked food will be allowed till 9 pm on all days.
The district magistrate also said that weekend curfew will continue in the city.
