Surrey, February 5, 2021 : Prominent Indo-Canadian woman MLA Jinny Simms has extended support to Kisan Morach.
In a tweet she said, “I STAND WITH FARMERS. Farmers are an integral part of every society and, like everyone, have the right to protest peacefully. Peaceful protest is a right and we urge dialogue to reach a resolution. So many residents of Canada with roots in India are personally impacted & extremely distressed at the reports of violence. Peaceful protest is cornerstone of democracy.
