A delegation of Haryana farmers led by Gurnam Singh Chaduni met chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar over their various demands at CM House here on Friday.
After holding a long talk with the CM, the farmers said that their demands were not agreed upon in the meeting
The farmers of Haryana put their demands before the Chief Minister – withdrawal of cases registered against the farmers in Haryana during the Kisan Morcha, farmers who died during the agitation should be given martyr status, compensation and government jobs to be given to the families of the farmers died during the agitation and building of a martyr memorial in their memory.
After the meeting, Chaduni said, “All these demands were discussed but the consensus did not seem to be reached. Now, we will place all the points of this meeting in the Sanyukat Kisan Morcha’s meeting scheduled on Saturday.”
