Martyrs' memorials will be built at Delhi borders in next two days: Kisan Morcha
Delhi, April 4, 2021:
The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) today said that the farmers will protest on April 5 in front of FCI offices across the country by surrounding them.
The SKM stated, “Marking this day as FCI Bachao Divas, a memorandum letter will be given in the name of the Minister of Consumer Affairs.”
Talking about the on-going Mitti Satyagraha Yatra led by Medha Patekar, the SKM informed on Saturday, the Yatra, which started from Dandi, reached Sirsa. Here, Kisan Chowk was built in Sirsa in memory of the martyred farmers. After that, the soil Satyagraha Yatra left for Mansa in Punjab.
However, at night, the Sirsa administration and other parties vandalized the Kisan Chowk. Pottery with soil from the land of martyrs from all over the country was also harmed, informed the Samyukta Kisan Morcha while strongly condemning this incident. “This is another occasion from where BJP has proved that they are not only disagreeing with the farmers but are also extremely hostile towards farmers,” stated SKM.
They declared that Martyrs' memorials will be built on Delhi protest sites with soil brought from the land of the martyrs from all over the country. The outline of these programs, as declared by the SKM, is as follows:
5 April: Shahjahanpur Border - 9 am to 11 am
Tikri Border - (Pakoda Chowk), Bahadurgarh - 2 pm
Tikri Border Main stage - Near Metro station - 4 pm
6 April: Ghazipur Border - 9 am to 11 am
