No dearth of funds to ensure all round development
S.A.S. Nagar, July 07, 2020: ''There is no dearth of funds to ensure the all round development of Mohali with the ultimate aim being to have a robust infrastructure to help the city emerge as a hub of development.'' These views were expressed here today by the Health and Family Welfare Minister, Punjab, and Mohali MLA Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu on the occasion of laying the foundation stone of the renovation works of the Cremation Ground in Sector-73. He said that the work would cost Rs. 50 lakh to the State Exchequer.
The minister also laid the foundation stone of the work to give facelift to the christian and muslim graveyard in Sector-73. The project would cost Rs. 15 lakh. Another sum of Rs. 15 lakh would be spent on constructing the boundary wall around the muslim graveyard in the vicinity.
