Jalandhar, July 14, 2020: Under the aegis of the ‘Mission Fateh’ a unique initiative of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to keep the citizens alert about precautions to be taken to keep novel coronavirus at bay, various teams of Municipal Corporation today held awareness drive in various wards of the city.
Giving further information, Joint Commissioner Municipal Corporation Jalandhar (MCJ) Harcharan Singh said that during the drive, the teams visited 23, 24, 29 wards and Khurla Kingra locality and emphasized that only 'alertness' can help to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus.
He said that volunteers motivated the people to wear mask mandatary, maintain two-yard distancing and wash their hands regularly during their day to day activities.
Harcharan Singh said that the volunteers also distributed the publicity material in form of pamphlets and badges to the people for making them aware of the ‘Mission Fateh’ campaign.
He said that the people were apprised about 'Mission Fateh', flagship program of the Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh launched on June 1.
He said that Mission Fateh is social movement to check the spread of novel corona virus by exercising all cautions.He said that it is duty of every citizen towards his family, society and nation to remain vigilant at all the times in this war against the Covid-19 pandemic.
