Fatehgarh Sahib, July.11, 2020: In view of the ever increasing prevalence of Covid-19 taking a precautionary measure, the Deputy Commissioner Amrit Kaur Gill has halted all types of public dealings at the District Administrative Complex Fatehgarh Sahib till further orders. No one will be allowed to enter the administrative complex rather e-mail IDs have been issued for the public to send their complaints and queries on the rajesh22fgs@gmail.com, seemac1397@gmail.com, eabranchfgs@gmail.com, mabranch88@gmail.com and plabranchfgs@gmail.com. Special team of employees will download the complaints and queries and send it to the dealing officer and will also respond back through e-mail. DC said that under mission Fateh of CM the officials are busy in creating awareness and dealing with COVID. She said people need not come to the offices all their grievances will be redressed through e-mails. She said this step has been taken to control the spread of COVID.
As three PCS officers from the district also attended the PCS Officer’s meeting held at Chandigarh and 18 of them were tested positive, so Deputy Commissioner Amrit Kaur Gill and all the PCS officers posted in the district quarantined themselves and gave their samples. Luckily DC, ADC (G), all the three SDMs, GA to DC, District Informatics Officer of NIC, Civil Surgeon, three doctors of civil hospital were tested negative, whereas Data entry operator and Technician of Civil Surgeon Office were tested positive. The District Administrative Complex was fully sanitized today as some of the positive employees had attended the video conferences held in the complex.
