Manuscripts of sakhiyan, bricks from old house of Bebbe Nanki, rare books on display
Gold, silver, copper Nanak Shahi coins also put on display
Chandigarh/Sultanpur Lodhi November 04, 2019: Chief Minister Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh will inaugurate the exhibition on November 5 that contains relics, manuscripts and rare books associated with Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's to mark the 550 Gurpurab celebrations as well as that of other Guru sahiban. This exhibition will be held till November 15.
Being put up by the tourism and cultural affairs department the exhibition will have 53 panels related to Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji of size 8 by 8. These panels will depict history of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji from his birth to the time he left for heavenly abode.
The base of exhibition are vars by Bhai Gurdas. Following the efforts of tourism and cultural affairs department people can also have darshan of original Nanakshahi bricks from the house of Bebbe Nanki. It is pertinent to mention here that the house of Bebbe Nanaki existed till the year 2003 whose bricks will be put up in exhibition.
Besides this gold silver and copper nanakshahi coins will also add on the exhibition. Besides Guru Nanak Dev Ji relics related to 9 Sikh Guru Ji will also be exhibited for which 40 panels each of 8 by 4 feet have been displayed.
