Holds Grievances Redressal Webinar for Ludhiana district today.

Ludhiana, July 25, 2020: Under the district level " Grievances Redressal Webinars" started by the Education Department, the Education Secretary, Krishan Kumar, today heard the grievances of the teachers and non teaching employees of Ludhiana district. Earlier, such webinars for Pathankot and Hoshiarpur districts have been held.
A large number of teaching and non teaching employees of the district Ludhiana joined the You Tube link to share their problems and grievances directly with the Education Secretary, Krishan Kumar.
The officials of the Education Department , including DPI(Elementary) Lalit Kishore Ghai, Concerned Nodal Officer, Balbir Kaur, DEO(SE), Swarnjit Kaur , DEO(EE), Rajinder Kaur Heer,Block Primary Education Officers and ministerial staff were also attending the Webinar from their respective places.
" The idea behind starting the district level Grievances Redressal Webinars on every Saturday is to ensure positive reciprocation to the hopes and aspirations of the teachers, who have been doing really commendable job in taking Virtual Classes, enhancing enrollment, distributing text books , mid day meal, holding on line Vidhayak Muqable to commemorate the 400th Gurpurv of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur ji , taking bimonthly house examination, as well as performing various duties during the unprecedented pandemic COVID-19", said the Education Secretary while asking the DEOs and BPEOs to ensure transparent and hassle free delivery of the utility services to the teachers so that they could concentrate their energy more towards quality improvement in schools.
During the Webinar, more than 80 grievances were raised by the teaching and non teaching employees. Krishan Kumar, while giving patient hearing to all the issues, problems and grievances put up during the interaction, resolved most of the grievances on the spot by issuing requisite instructions to the concerned officials present in the Webinar.
The issues as well as grievances would also be taken up at the meeting of the concerned officials at the Head Office on Monday. These would be examined and resolved on merit, he added.
