Jalandhar, July 28, 2020: Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori today batted for active participation of Industrialists for benefitting the unemployed youth by opening new vistas of employment for them.
Holding a meeting with the industrialists through Video-Conferencing at his office regarding Online Mega Job Fair Week from September 24 to 30, Deputy Commissioner said that the association of the industrial sector with the government was need of the hour to fulfill the dream of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to provide job to every youth of the state.
Deputy Commissioner said that that this online job fair week would be organized under the Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission of the state government and around 10000 jobs would be offered during this week.
Exhorting the leading entrepreneurs and industrial giants to patriciate in the fair, he said that the motive of organizing job fair under ‘Ghar Ghar Rozgar, is to facilitate the youth in getting jobs and industry to get skilled and educated manpower as per their needs.
He said that this online job fair week would help in providing a pool of skilled and educated manpower to the industrialists as per their requirements. The Deputy Commissioner asked the industrialists should also provide the data to the administration regarding the number of skill workers required by them.
Thori said that this job fair would play an instrumental role in accomplishing the ‘Ghar Ghar Rozgar Yojna’ of the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh besides providing a productive and hardworking workforce to the industrialists.
Deputy Commissioner said that this job fair week aims at making the youth an active partner in socio-economic growth of the state by offering employment opportunities to them.
