Priority to solve the problems of the rail passengers of the area: Yogesh Gupta
Ferozepur based Yogesh Gupta nominated as Member Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee
Ferozepur, September 19, 2020: Advocate Yogesh Gupta has been nominated by the Ministry of Railways as a Special Interest Member of the Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee- DRUCC.
Speaking to media persons, Gupta said, it’s my privilege to be nominated as DRUCC Member and to serve the people of this border and town of martyrs.
Adding he said, his aim will be to take the issues with the Board to solve the problems of the passengers besides giving priority to getting started Ferozepur-Haridwar train after lifting of the lockdown, changing of timings of the Ferozepur-Chandigarh train, increase the number of coaches on Ferozepur-Fazilka track and reopening of Ferozepur-Hoshiarpur Train for the convenience of the devotees visiting Mata Chintpurni besides speeding up the work of Ferozepur-Patti rail link.
Yogesh Gupta said that the Ferozepur division is an integral part of the border district and the area of this division touched from Punjab to Jammu and Kashmir. He said that while the train is a ride for every common man, it has also important benefits for every section.
Yogesh Gupta who started his social career from ABVP, has earlier served as Assistant Advocate General with the Punjab Government and also as Assistant Standing Counsel for Government of India. He is now playing a vital role in imparting education to the needy children in the slum areas. The people from all walks of life have congratulated on his new assignment with high expectations.
