On the first death anniversary (barsi) of renowned educationist, producer, and social worker, Charanjit Singh Walia, many personalities including politicians and actors remembered him at the bhog ceremony here at Mata Sahib Kaur Nursing College.
Walia passed away on May 18, 2021 due to COVID.
Along with family members, relatives, and friends, prominent personalities who attended the first 'Barsi' of Charanjit Singh Walia are - Kulwant Singh, MLA Mohali, Balbir Sidhu, former Health minister, Kulbir Zira, Parminder Singh Pinky, Darshan Singh Brar, all ex-MLAs of Congress, Prof Prem Singh Chandumajra, SAD leader, BN Sharma, film actor.
