Dr D.P Singh brings laurels for the state, becomes President of SELSI

Dr DP Singh has earned laurels for the state by being chosen as President of an important organisation at the national level. Dr DP Singh, professor and head, Department of Surgery, Government Medical College and Rajindra Hospital, Patiala, has been elected the president of the Society of Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgeons of India during the general body meeting of the society held in Varanasi.
The Society of Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgeons of India (SELSI) is a premier body of the Laparoscopic Surgeons of India. This is a national level organisation of Laparoscopic Surgeons of India involved in teaching and training programmes for surgeons in developing their laparoscopic skills.
Dr Singh is a renowned laparoscopic and general surgeon of the northern India and has performed live surgeries at various conferences and workshops. He has many publications in various national and international medical journals.
Dr D.P Singh is well trained in various laparoscopic surgeries and he has popularised “Two port lap cholecystectomy” for Gall Bladder stone disease. He is experienced in Oncosurgery with malignancies of thyroid, breast, kidney, colorectal, hepatobiliary and Pancreatic organs.
